Recently my daughter was having her 3rd experience with a pilonidal cyst. She had figured out that one appeared every 2 years at the beginning of summer. The first 2 days she thought it was a bruised tailbone but the 3rd day the pain was such that she new the pilonidal cyst was back. The only way to stop this from coming back was surgery and she was ready for it.
We went to the doctor who confirmed it was a pilonidal cyst but it had not progressed enough to be lanced to relieve the pain. She wanted to do the surgery but the doctor was booked for 2 weeks.
I took her home and had her apply one drop of the Thieves oil blend on the spot. It burned a little so she put a warm wash cloth over it also. She got relief from the pain so continued applying the Thieves oil a few more times that day.
After the second day the cyst was gone! No pain or problem sitting at all. Now she will not need to get the surgery because if there is a flare-up she will just use her bottle of Thieves oil.
Gotta love those oils!
