Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

My dog loves the oils. We think he has high blood pressure because his eyes will get red, especially after we throw his ball for him. So we have experimented with oils. Some, like Grapefruit, send him into a frenzy. He clearly hates it and can't settle down until the smell fades.

However, he seems to really like Ylang Ylang, Copaiba, and Ocotea. I've tried putting a few drops of each on him, 1-2 on the shoulder and 1-2 on the hips, and he stands there and lets me put them on. If I haven't put something on for the day, he'll follow me around to remind me.

Definitely go slowly and test out only a few drops at a time. You're dog may be sensitive to something and you don't want to accidentally drive him crazy! A few drops of an oil you know he doesn't mind might be just the thing!
