Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have been an oiler for several years. As a result I have a set of Young Living Essential Oils in my kitchen cabinets for appropriate use, and another set in the bathroom. Lemon is one of those oils I try not to run out of. Lemon can be used internally, aromatically and topically.

In the kitchen I put a few drops in a pint bottle of water which I keep in the refrigerator and drink throughout the day. When the bottle is empty, I fill it up again and just add more Lemon. It enhances the flavor of the water, is refreshing and renewing, and is a motivator to drink more water than I would if it were not flavored.

I apply several drops of Lemon oil in a large bucket with water that I use to clean my fruits and vegetables before cooking and/or eating them. I let the fruit/vegetables soak in the Lemon water for several minutes and then scrub them.

I've used Lemon oil to successfully flavor baked goods as well as fish and poultry.

I have effectively used Lemon oil to remove black ink from plastic containers where I had labeled the contents, allowing me to change the label and reuse those containers for something else.

In the bathroom I've used the Lemon to fight a nail fungus by applying it directly on the offending toe nail. I also enjoy taking foot baths with a few drops of Lemon oil mixed with a few drops of Lavender oil. I find it very relaxing. The uses for Lemon go on and on, and it smells great!
