If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
I work in a hospital and finally after 5 years of long shifts and assisting those in need, I was infected with MRSA at work. It had been really hot in the lab that night and my side began itching a lot and I scratched over my scrubs really hard on the area.
I didn't think about it at the time but my side where I scratched began hurting a few hours later. Sometimes it pinched because I have permanent stitching in my side that pulls a little at times.
When I got home and took off my scrubs I found a nice sized boil on my side which was what was hurting and where I had been scratching. So I took a sterile needle and opened the head on the boil so it could drain and applied Cypress essential oil. I did this at least 3x a day for next 2 days and it was improving.
Then I went back to work and the lab was so hot I was dripping in sweat. I went to the bathroom and found the boil had tripled in size and was advancing into my breast. I still thought it was just an abscess or carbuncle. I worked 2 more days in misery.
When I got off work the next day I called the doctors office and they said I could only see the nurse. When she saw my side, it was now black, but oozing. Dr Hunstad was in the room within 5 minutes.
He's actually a surgeon that teaches surgery at UNC Chapel Hill and the most wonderful surgeon. He said he wanted to get a drain in it to see if it was MRSA.
Three days later I was extremely sick. More so than I should of been. The read up on my antibiotic Keflex was that it could cause colitis. I already had that and it was late Saturday night. So I just stopped taking it and began flushing my side out with Lemongrass, Cypress, and Roman Chamomile oil when in the bathtub.
I also got aggressive with sterilized tweezers and pulled out bands of infection that were attached to the wound. I did this several times before the doctor visit on Monday.
The doctor said he loved how it looked and was amazed the infection was gone. I'm a firm believer that these oils overcame the MRSA that attacked my body.

These results indicate that the antibacterial action of essential oils was most effective when at high vapor concentration for a short time." | Link |
