We have a metal blade fan in our kitchen and it is quite vicious when comes to blowing a breeze. I was in the kitchen preparing lunch because we were having friends over and I stood up on a chair to reach a higher cupboard and forgot the fan was on and a bit close to my destination.
Anyway, next thing I know it is an excruciating pain in my wrist, lost of control to move it and I thought: Great! I have a broken wrist and my lunch is not ready yet!
I yelled to one of my kids to get me blessed Peppermint and pour on my wrist. One of my guests told me I was going to be in agony pain for a while and quite bruised, plus the blade cut through leaving a deep 3cm wide gash. Nonsense, I replied, these oils operate miracles when you are open to receive them.
I kept putting 3 to 4 drops every 10 minutes for the first hour and then quite often throughout the day until I went to bed. I used a bit of Helichrysum as well.
I finished to prepare our lunch without too much ado. The location was painful at the touch or if I had to twist my wrist but nothing unbearable.
At the end of the day I had a scab where the cut was and that was all it was. NO BRUISE, NO SWOLLEN, JUST A THIN SCAB.
It took around 5 to 6 days for no pain at all when pressing the location but it was a very mild pain and I wasn't abstained of doing anything because of it. Peppermint, Lavender and Melaleuca are always at hand in our house and it should be in all the homes of our lovely Universe!
Enjoy the oils, experiment with them. They are a gift from Nature, presented to us from gifted people as Gary Young and the whole wonderful crew and family helping him in his journey.
