Two weeks ago my husband came home from work with a smashed finger that probably should have had a few stitches. It was painful, red and swollen when he unwrapped it.
I applied a drop of Lavender essential oil (which he laughed at) and when I looked at it after supper the color was more normal and he said it didn't hurt as badly. Within a few days the pain was entirely gone and it looked like a smaller cut.
Since then we have used Lavender to treat scraped knees, spider bites, minor burns, paper cuts and scraped knuckles. Each time, the pain relief is almost instant and the skin regeneration started immediately.
My husband's finger was the only wound we had to apply a second treatment to.
