Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

One evening my three-year-old daughter had a terrible attitude - crying, whining, and sulking. Bad attitudes at the age of three are pretty common, but I could tell something was wrong this time.

I put her in the bath tub, which usually improves most of her bad moods. She continued to cry and whine about anything and everything. She never could explain to me what hurt or what was wrong. I asked her if she would like a Raindrop Technique after her bath and she nodded eagerly. I measured her height before beginning and adapted the Raindrop Technique for her as follows:

* Place all the drops of RDT oils in a glass roll-on bottle EXCEPT the Valor oil blend.

*4 drops each:

Oregano, Thyme,
Basil, Wintergreen,
the Aroma Siez oil blend, Peppermint

* 8 drops of Marjoram and Cypress

Observe where the oils stop in the bottle and add a little less than an equal amount of Ortho Ease massage oil. (Approximately 30 drops) Swirl around to combine oils.

* Begin by balancing shoulders with 3 drops of Valor. Balance feet with 6 drops of Valor.

* Roll-on RDT oils over spine Vita Flex point on one foot once. Vita Flex towards the big toe. Repeat on opposite foot.

* Rub a small amount of V-6 oil on the child's spine, bottom to skull.

* Roll-on RDT oils generously on both side of spine, from bottom to the skull. Feather in 3-6-9.

* Finger circles gently 3 times, Vita Flex beside spine 3 times, Saw-move and gentle skull pull 3 times each, Stretch and Quiver.

* Indian Rub with Ortho Ease and gentle massage.

* End with 5 drops of Valor feathered over spine.

My daughter absolutely LOVED receiving this treatment. It only took about 20 minutes to perform. The time was shortened a lot by placing the oils all together in the roll-on bottle. This worked great for a three-year-old who usually has a serious case of the wiggles!

After the RDT her attitude had improved greatly, but I decided to place 1 drop of the Joy oil blend over her heart and rubbed it in circles. She loved the smell of the "flower-oil". I measured her again and was amazed to see her spine had realigned enough for her to grow half an inch!

After the RDT and Joy oil, she was smiling, happy, and was very snuggly and kissy with her mommy. She told me she felt "much better". COMPLETE attitude change in my daughter!

Her especially loving and obedient attitude continued at least till three days later.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: behavior — "The present study indicated that lavender aromatherapy as a potential therapeutic modality could alleviate premenstrual emotional symptoms, which, at least in part, is attributable to the improvement of parasympathetic nervous system activity. This study further implies that HRV could evaluate the efficacy of aromatherapy using various fragrances to relieve premenstrual symptoms, and ultimately, support the mind and body health of women."Link
2.Associated topics: behavior — "Beta-Caryophyllene [component of cannabis, clove, copaiba], a CB2 [cannabinoid] receptor agonist produces multiple behavioral changes relevant to anxiety and depression in mice.... these preclinical results suggest that CB2 receptors may provide alternative therapeutic targets for the treatment of anxiety and depression. The possibility that BCP may ameliorate the symptoms of these mood disorders offers exciting prospects for future studies."Link
3.Associated topics: behavior — "A number of essential oils are currently in use as aromatherapy agents to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. Popular anxiolytic oils include lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), rose (Rosa damascena), orange (Citrus sinensis), bergamot (Citrus aurantium), lemon (Citrus limon), sandalwood (Santalum album), clary sage (Salvia sclarea), Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis), and rose-scented geranium (Pelargonium spp.)."Link
4.Associated topics: behavior — "Most studies, as well as clinically applied experience, have indicated that various essential oils, such as lavender, lemon and bergamot can help to relieve stress, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Most notably, inhalation of essential oils can communicate signals to the olfactory system and stimulate the brain to exert neurotransmitters (e.g. serotonin and dopamine), thereby further regulating mood."Link
5.Associated topics: behavior — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
6.Associated topics: behavior — "Lavender essential oil has been used as an anxiolytic [anxiety] drug, a mood stabilizer, a sedative, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antihypertensive [high blood pressure], antimicrobial, analgesic [pain] agent as well as a wound healing accelerator.... The present study suggests that inhalation of lavender essential oil may be an effective and safe treatment modality in acute management of migraine headaches."Link
7.Associated topics: behavior — "The results indicate that children’s shared attention behaviors increased during aromatherapy massage and that other aspects of their behavior also changed over the course of the research. Family involvement in the study enabled these changes to be transferred from school to home.... Steve Solomons explores the implications of his research for new teaching and learning opportunities for children with autistic spectrum disorders and severe learning difficulties."Link
8.Associated topics: behavior — "[P]re-clinical and clinical research available today demonstrat[es] the power, safety, and effectiveness of natural compounds [particularly aromatherapy] for relieving stress and anxiety.... [S]imple inhalation of patchouli and rose oil reduced sympathetic nervous activity by 40%, with rose oil reducing adrenaline concentrations by 30%.... Lavender oil... has also been studied for the ability to reduce stress, anxiety, aggression, and cortisol levels, among two dozen other potential therapeutic properties."Link
