Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

My horse had a severe paddock fall two days before Christmas 2011. After an initial Equine Raindrop Technique she was treated with veterinary assistance as well as essential oils.

Each morning and evening the affected area (point of impact) on her offside shoulder was treated with an application of an essential oil blend containing Geranium, Cypress, Wintergreen, Lavender, Frankincense and Myrrh (for one week). This appeared to bring out the bruising.

The next week the morning and evening oils application continued with a combination of the oils contained in the 12 Oils of Ancient Scripture kit. During the second week the bruising developed into a point of impact absyss type lump and toward the end of the second week, in conjunction with equine body work (Equine Touch) the wound opened to release damaged tissue and other toxins.

The daily essential oil blend continued with a combination to support an open wound and included Sandalwood, Myrrh, Lavender, Geranium, Frankincense, Thieves and Peppermint. I would have liked to include Lemon to assist with cellular regeneration but was worried about the sun exposure as my horse is kept outdoors, so didn't.

The flesh in and around the wound was pink and healthy from the very beginning and held over, fully closing within about 7 days. There is no scarring or lumpiness and while there is still some residual muscle damage with ongoing treatment and body work this will continue to improve.
