I accidentally closed the door of my car on my middle finger. I was expecting to have a bruised, black and blue finger nail after that but Wintergreen oil came to the rescue.
So I soaked my pinched finger in cold water, applied a few drops of Wintergreen to a band-aid, and wrapped it with some gauze.
That night it did not hurt and the next day it was back to normal. The finger nail showed a white line across but no bruise, no pain and now the white line grew out and disappeared.
Yeah for essential oils!
