Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I've had moderate to severe acne throughout my teen years and now that I'm in college, it's even more embarrassing to have it. I tried Lavender, but that only seemed to make me break out more, maybe because it made my face too oily.

Two things have helped noticeably though: Copaiba and Ylang Ylang.

One to two drops of Copaiba applied topically to the acne and all over my face helped me quite a bit. I'm guessing this is because acne is inflammation and Copaiba is great for reducing inflammation. I also put a few drops in a capsule and took that once a day which is very helpful.

I also tried putting a drop of Ylang Ylang on over my face topically, followed by cream every time I wash my face and found that it's really helpful too, especially with decreasing the size of whiteheads and calming down really inflamed areas.

Since Copaiba is currently sold out, I'm doing my best with the Ylang Ylang, but when I can get more Copaiba, I plan to take it internally in a capsule every day and use the Ylang Ylang topically every day. I think this will have the best results.
