I was driving to my massage class the other day where I was about to take my practical exam. I would be massaging my teacher and was quite nervous about it. I had put Lavender and Rosemary oils in my backpack to help with my memory and stress level during the test. I had planned to share them with everyone in the class.
As I was driving I noticed a stinging feeling under my left thumb and in got worse and worse. I lifted my hand off the steering wheel and realized I had squished a bee. It was pretty painful, and I did not have time to go home and get some baking soda, which I normally use to draw out the sting. I just reached into my backpack and poured on some Lavender oil. Within a few seconds the pain subsided, and the redness went away as well . My thumb never swelled up and the pain never came back. I was able to take the test and passed easily.
