We recently got an infestation in our dry goods cupboard with a small dull brown moth. Some actually flew out of a box of cereal!
I was wondering what oil would be a good insect repellent, then it hit me - Cedarwood essential oil. I bought some and, yep, it worked like a charm.
All I did was put it on tiny pieces of paper towel 3 times a week. Moths hate it and go away. If I forget for more than 3 weeks, they are back, but then I just repeat my protocol.
