Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

After my last surgery I had started to use Lavender on my surgical scars. I was hoping it would get rid of the redness of the incision scars. I was amazed at how fast the scars were fading. They were significantly reduced within 6 weeks of putting the oil on morning and night.

This was 6 months after my surgery and the scars were so much better after 6 weeks then they had been in 6 months. The Lavender oil did what I was hoping it would do but what I was not expecting was how the Lavender oil got rid of the deep built up scar tissue on my breast!

I had about 1 1/2" thick scar tissue that ran along my incision scar on my left breast and some pockets were deep scar tissue was forming. They disappeared!

I couldn't believe it. I am a massage therapist and had been doing friction and rolling techniques to reduce the scar tissue build up, but it was really thick and could not be rolled. It was what we call glued down.

After using the Lavender oil for about 8 weeks, I could roll my skin on my breasts as easily as I could roll the skin on the back of my hand! I was amazed.

That was my confirmation on how the oils can work for us. I am now passionate about the oils. I carry them with me and use them daily.

2.Associated topics: skin — "[M]any curative properties attributed to various plants in indigenous medicine are also present in their essential oils.... These oils exert a number of general effects from the pharmacological viewpoint. When applied locally, the essential oils mix readily with skin oils, allowing these to attack the infective agents quickly and actively.... 3.Associated topics: breasts — "D-limonene is one of the most common terpenes in nature. It is a major constituent in several citrus oils.... Being a solvent of cholesterol, d-limonene has been used clinically to dissolve cholesterol-containing gallstones. Because of its gastric acid neutralizing effect and its support of normal peristalsis, it has also been used for relief of heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). D-limonene has well-established chemopreventive activity against many types of cancer. Evidence from a phase I clinical trial demonstrated a partial response in a patient with breast cancer and stable disease for more than six months in three patients with colorectal cancer."Link
4.Associated topics: collagen — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link

We detail... the successful treatment with TTO of a paediatric patient with warts on her right middle finger. TTO was applied topically once daily to the lesions for 12 days, with a successful outcome, including complete re-epithelization of the infected areas. The case highlights the potential use of TTO in the treatment of common warts due to human papilloma virus."Link
