I got a large blister on my heel from golfing with my golf shoes and no socks. It had ripped open by the time I decided it was time to take the shoes off.
The next two days I had to work so I put some Lavender on the wound, placed a bandage over it and wore my socks and shoes as usual. This hurt terribly, but I had to go to work.
The next night I developed a fever, chills and body aches. Couldn't figure out why. Later I put some more oils on my heel and realized it was infected, hence the fever. . . . I only had one Inner Defense. So I put a few drops of Thieves in a capsule took those for the next couple days. Along with washing the wound and applying diluted Purification, Thieves. Then some Helichrysum and Lavender. It was so swollen I couldn't even see my ankle bone.
Now today it is very slightly swollen and no longer hurts! No more fever either. I sure love these oils!
