Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Last week my family along with my sister's family went to Tennessee on a house boat. Everyone had been teasing me about bringing my oils until the teenagers found a rope swing off a cliff on the shore.

They had been swinging on the rope fine until my niece took another swing. She let go of the rope and the bottom of the rope wrapped around her ankle, snapped her upside down and left her hanging for a few seconds until the rope broke. Her entire body weight was on her ankle.

We immediately got her in the little boat and back to the big boat. By the time we got her to the couch her entire ankle was swollen and approximately a 2 inch band all around her ankle where the rope had caught was black and blue.

I immediately put the PanAway oil blend and Lavender oil all around her ankle. I just dumped because it hurt her so bad I couldn't really rub it on. Then we placed a baggie of ice on it.

In less than 1/2 an hour there was no sign of bruising! It was completely gone along with the swelling! None of us could believe the oils could work that fast and that completely.

A couple of hours later she was walking on it. The next day she was completely fine! Needless to say no one is teasing me now and my sister is enrolling with Young Living Essential Oils.

swelling-/-swollen-/-puffy - "[W]e studied the anti-inflammatory and gastroprotective effects of C. citratus [Lemongrass] and E. citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus] essential oils on formol-induced edema and acetic acid induced abdominal cramps in Wistar rats.... In vivo analysis and histological assay showed that the two essential oils displayed significant dose-dependent edema [swelling] inhibition effect over time. They displayed strong analgesic [pain-relieving] and antipyretic [fever-reducing] properties similar to that induced by 50 mg/kg of acetylsalicylate of lysine.... This work demonstrates the anti-inflammatory property of Cymbopogon citratus [Lemongrass] and Eucalyptus citriodora [Lemon Eucalyptus], suggesting their potential role as adjuvant therapeutic alternatives in dealing with inflammatory-related diseases."Link
