My cat had a large abscess on the side of his face, so I put a few drops of each of the Melrose oil blend, Geranium and Lavender in V-6 oil.

After a few days the abscess popped, and drained easily. As he never showed any other signs of being sick I did not need to take him to the vet, but I watched him very closely.

I kept using the oils twice a day on his abscess until about 4 days after it popped.

It has now cleared up nicely.
