Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

This is from my son:

I do concrete work and construction for a living. On the morning of August 22nd I was about an hour into work when I accidentally cut my right index finger open. Here is what happened, and the steps taken to fix it:

I was pounding a rebar stake into the ground with a sledge hammer, when I suddenly missed with the head of the sledge and I hit the edge of the rebar with my right index finger, just below the second knuckle, right where it bends.

I immediately had a co-worker run me to the Emergency room. Lucky for me it was around 8:45 in the morning and I was the 3rd person in the ER. After cleaning up my wound I had to have a blood vessel stitched back together and seven stitches to reconnect the skin over my knuckle.

The doc sent me home with instructions not to remove the bandage for 3 days and return in 10-12 days to have the stitches removed. When the 3 days were over, I removed the bandage and started applying Lavender oil to the wound 2-4 times daily. I would also re-apply the bandage before sleeping or if I left the house.

After the 10 days were up I had the stitches removed and continued to apply Lavender 2-4 times daily. Within 4 days the scab had fallen completely off of the wound.

I have been applying Lavender for 15 days. Other than the dryness around where the cut was, it is almost completely cleared up.

I also am a musician and thankful for therapeutic grade oils combined with good medical care. With Lavender oil my finger is strong and has not lost the ability to play music.
