Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I was helping my son with renovations at his house and while making a single cup of coffee mid-morning, the filter cone on the cup tipped over and boiling water poured over the back of my hand, instantly turning it a bright pink-red and was very painful.

Not being at home where all our oils are, I only had the small sample bottle of Peppermint oil which I always carry in my pocket. It greatly reduced the stinging to "tolerable" and I continued applying it throughout the day.

When I got home, I started applying Lavender oil and the Purification oil blend every couple of hours, which completely eliminated any pain. There was absolutely NO blistering and the pink coloration gradually went away over the next few days.

About a week later the skin peeled, but it was an extremely thin layer (too thin to pull) which just rubbed off when I briskly washed my hands, revealing healthy normal skin underneath.
