Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Never did I have or hear of a chalazion before I developed one, which is like a cyst. I went to the doctor and she told me what it was, told me to hot pack it 4 times a day for 15 minutes or so, which seemed like an hour out of the day I didn't have but you gotta do what you gotta do. She also told me they often need to be surgically removed so that made me diligent about my soaks, which did about nothing to improve my condition even after 3 weeks or so of working it.

I began to apply Frankincense directly onto the spot on my eyelid, 3 times a day and would occasionally dab Palo Santo and or Lavender on the bone surrounding my eye. It definitely got worse before it got better and after a time it did begin to irritate my skin, so I kept up the Lavender but started putting the Frankincense on the top of my head instead of my eye lid.

Slowly and steadily it began to shrink. It took the better part of the winter, probably 5 months total to totally dissolve it but the idea of someone coming at me with a scalpel and cutting into my eye lid was not something I like the idea of so I kept it up and eventually, it did go completely away.

By the way, I have a client who has had multiple chalazions in the past and works in the medical field. He advised me to have it surgically removed because he said once it starts there is a crystal in there that doesn't dissolve and will need to be removed. He is pretty impressed with my nonsurgical approach to the stubborn chalazion.
