A few years ago, my sister was taking many prescription drugs and she was having a problem with reactions from them and consequently was overdoing it. This was happening over the Christmas holidays when I went to visit for a week.
When I saw her, she was stooped over and ungrounded. This frightened me as I could see she was not present. When she talked, it didn't make sense. She didn't look like my sister. She was totally under the influence of too many prescriptions.
I had brought all my Raindrop oils with me, as I am never without them wherever I go. It seemed that doing a Raindrop session on her would be good. I asked her if she would like to try this and she said yes. I heard this type of session would be good for detoxifying the body.
After the first session, she felt better (I only did Raindrop on her back, and I used less oils, as I wanted to proceed cautiously). She wanted to have another Raindrop the next day because she felt better. Although I was concerned about doing too many, I did what she asked, again going light on the oils. She was becoming more herself!
She kept wanting a Raindrop every day, so I figure I ended up doing about 5 in a row....only on her back...and also being cautious in the amount I was using. By the end of her last Raindrop, she had detoxed the excess drugs within her system and she was totally cognizant of what had happened.
Afterwards, she visited her doctor and told him what had happened. Of course, he was not happy about the situation. Her husband was also displeased with me for not getting her Emergency treatment at the hospital. Quite honestly, we didn't think of this as an option. However, she was convinced that she did the right thing at the time.
I am sharing my experience as it was profound; however, I urge caution. I followed my inner guidance and paid close attention to the after effects and what she was saying. I also used the essential oil reference book as my guide. I was also there 24/7 while doing the Raindrop Technique on her which was also a very good thing.
It was all uphill with every session she received.
