I have been under high stress of late and ended up with shingles on my face of all places! I know that is dangerous and it can have the potential of blinding or losing hearing.
I thought it was a bug bite so I kept applying the Purification and Thieves oil blends plus Lavender. It never developed or changed much over several days but shooting pains went to my eyes and ears.
I went to a clinic to have it identified. They said "we're not sure because it hasn't changed into the red oozing blisters". So I had it identified by biofeedback. Then I began a serious attack using 2-3 drops each of Purification, Thieves, the Melrose oil blend and Lavender applied several times. Frankincense oil was used in between the other application of oils.
I took Inner Defense too. It never got to the contagious stage. I started breathing in Peppermint, the Peace & Calming oil blend and Bergamot to calm nerve endings. I applied these to my heart, inhaled and applied to the nerve endings around my ear. It took dedication and I beat it.
A tiny scar that I am working on remains 9 weeks later but no vaccines, no antibiotics because if not diagnosed within 48 hrs, they are useless. I wouldn't have done that anyway. Removing stress is key and using the oils until the right ones work for you.
