My daughter has 2 sugar gliders, which is another name for possums. One of the little guys seemed more nervous and scared when she would put both of them in the pouch.

So we tried some Eucalyptus oil on her hands. When she reached in to get them from the cage, he could not get in her hand quick enough!

After putting him in the pouch, she kept her hand in there and he curled up and went to sleep. That was about a year ago, she still does use it if one seems upset or fussy.

Thought this might help some sugar glider owner that has an unhappy one, they really like it!

Sugar gliders are small, arboreal and agile marsupials with a body weight of barely four ounces that make great pets in the proper environment.
