I have been a distributor for Young Living for 5 years now, but not that I wanted to earn money for a career, but assist with my own health. I continue to be blessed with essential oil miracles, but want to share my tick solution for you because they are the reason I never go into the woods.
I had heard that Palo Santo is a great oil for repelling bugs and ticks so I put it to the test. The other day I was working on a job out in the woods all day. Everyone of the crew had used commercial tick spray; apparently also did research to find out what repellent works best.
I was so excited to try the Palo Santo, so I put a few drops of the oil into a 3 inch amber spray bottle and filled the rest up with water. I sprayed the oil solution all over myself including shoes, pants, shirt, hair and face.
At the end of the day, the crew people where frantically looking for ticks on themselves because several people had found deer ticks on their clothes. I am so impressed with this oil!!! Not one bug or tick landed on me!! YAY! I feel confident that I can go into the woods anytime without the fear of ticks. Thank you to the company for creating this oil. I am truly inspired every single day.
