If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
I recently stayed with my sister to help her with her baby, who had horrible Colic. For the first two days that I was there I rubbed one drop of DiGize on each of his feet, and for the first few days he didn't seem to be that bad. He is very congested and swallows lots of air and mucos as he is eating.
On day three I didn't use anything. He truely screamed all day and night except for when he ate and the precious moments he slept. Again, day four I didn't use any oils, but we decided to try formula, wondering if he was allergic to my sisters breast milk. It didn't make a difference. We had also been trying Gripe Water, and Mylicon drops, neither of which seemed to make much of a difference.
So we went back to the oils. My sister would put the DiGize on her breast right before a feeding, then put Lemon on the bridge of his nose. Lemon is a mucolytic, which means that it actually liquifys mucos. It is also very calming. Thus helping his congestion and his frantic feeding frenzy. The DiGize has Peppermint in it and also helped his nose to open up so he could breathe while he was eating. It also has Fennel, Tarragon, anise, and Ginger all of which are digestive aids.
WOW what a difference! He actually slept 5 hours the last night I was there! Of course this is not a magic pill. He would still have occasional tummy aches, but it was noticably less often and less intense. Another bonus was the Fennel in the DiGize helped to increase my sisters milk supply.
