Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I grow wheatgrass in my kitchen window in order to juice it for my family. The first tray I grew had so much mold growing in it that I didn't know if I could juice it.

On the next batch I put an air-purifier in the window, didn't plant the seeds so thick, and thought it couldn't hurt to lightly spray the sprouting seeds with the (very diluted) Thieves Household Cleaner. I did this in hopes that it would help keep the mold down.

It worked! Every time I did the dishes I checked between the blades of grass and, if mold was growing up, I lightly sprayed that spot.

After growing to full height, the mold was still there, but on the soil, not the grass, so I was able to cut nice long strands, rinse, and juice.

So keep Thieves Household Cleaner in mind if you have mold issue with your sprouts!
