Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have 2 experiences reducing the length and the severity of colds. Usually a cold lasts 10 days to 2 weeks for me. This is my protocol.

I start by massaging 3-4 drops of the RC oil blend to my chest and neck, 3x a day for congestion and sore throat. I also ingest 3-4 drops of the Thieves oil blend in water orally at the same time 2x a day.

I diffused 10 drops of ImmuPower for 30 minutes.

I vita-flexed a few drops of the Ravensara oil blend on the lung area on the bottom of my feet 2x daily. I have the cut time in half for both colds as well as the symptoms were much reduced.

One of the colds I think was developing into bronchitis that usually necessitates a trip to the doctor for antibiotics.

These oils are amazing! I take 3 days beyond the last symptom to be sure.

3.Associated topics: colds — "Taken together, we found an essential oil blend [Orange, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary] notably attenuates influenza virus PR8 infection in vitro via inhibition of viral protein synthesis at the post-transcription level. The lack of toxicity and potent specific inhibition ability make the essential oil a possible antiviral drug for influenza virus proliferation control and treatment."Link

[T]hyme, cinnamon, lemongrass, tea tree, lavender, oregano, clove, palmarosa, or cajeput [melaleuca] EOs [essential oils] are known to be active against Streptococcus pyogenes, while oregano, basil, mint [peppermint], rosemary, and lavender EOs are known to inhibit another Gram-positive bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus [staph].... We showed that cinnamon presented the higher activity against S. pyogenes compared to the other EOs tested.... 14 [essential oils] showed antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pyogenes.... Among them Cinnamomum verum [cinnamon bark], Cymbopogon citratus [Xiang Mao], Thymus vulgaris CT thymol [thyme], Origanum compactum [oregano], and Satureja montana [Mountain Savory] essential oils exhibited significant antibacterial activity.
