I recently went on a trip to a warm place with my family. The second day there I felt a sore spot on my face beside my mouth and unfortunately scratched it. It became several cold sores at once.
When I got back to the room I put Cinnamon Bark oil and the Thieves oil blend on it to try to eliminate it and keep it from spreading any further. I applied the two oils morning and night.
The Cinnamon Bark oil would sting a bit but would subside and the Thieves made it a little numb. I had a nice little cluster but after the first day they crusted over and stayed that way.
After the second day I noticed that the spot no longer hurt. One week from the first day the crusted scabs fell off with washing my face. The skin was still a bit red underneath but it was new skin, not another outbreak.
I am very glad I had these two oils with me.
