Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
Our little one is 18 months old. I have always had Young Young Lavender essenial oil on hand. Whenever I change her diaper, if I notice her bottom is a little red, I immediately put a little tiny drop of Lavender on her and that's it, besides sometime I put almond oil, too, esepcially when she was a new born. She has never once had diaper rash. In fact, I am afraid to say, I don't really know what diaper rash looks like.
A few weeks ago, I changed a friend's newborn's diaper. He was recovering from diaper rash, as it appeared blotchy, red, and was peppered with little lesions that were healing. It looked very painful, very raw. This was foreign to me. I offered her the essential oil, but I don't think she really wanted it. We young mothers are afraid to try anything, aren't we? Especially when our babies are new born...a mother really hurts when her baby hurts, and I am grateful my little girl never knew the discomfort of diaper rash, and I am very, very grateful I tried Lavender oil!
I also use it for my burns from baking--no pain after I apply it directly to the burns--an instant pain reliever! You know how you burn yourself, and the pain throbs for hours? Well, I use Lavender essential oil and I don't ever endure that pain! I apply a few drops to the burn every few minutes when the pain returns, and after a few applications, the pain never returns. It also heals it quickly. I baked seven cakes this holiday season, and Oh, my finger has a blister from a deep burn, but I wasn't prevented from my baking!
