My husband used to get clusters of cold sore about once a month around his lips. It always ended up a mess with cracking and bleeding. We stopped treating the sores externally and started him with a drop or two of the Thieves oil blend internally, twice per day, in a capsule.

It has been 6 months now and no outbreaks! He felt a tingle of a cold sore coming after work about a week ago. I put a drop of Thieves on immediately and, another drop just before bed. Voila, the sore never surfaced!

A friend has also experienced the same except after a stressful week. She woke up to a blister and put Thieves oil on it. This oil halted the blister in its tracks. Lavender oil was then applied for its soothing skin effects.
