When the 2010-2011 cold and flu season started, I became religious about rubbing ImmuPower, the Thieves oil blend and Oregano into the soles of my 7-year-old's feet and along her spine daily. For myself, I just rubbed the residue into my palms to cover reflexology points.
This year's stomach flu made its way through our community, and then through our household. But it showed up in her only as a mild tummy ache and slight fatigue. I applied the DiGize oil blend to her abdomen and lower spine.
She was better that evening and had no trouble the next day. I applied the DiGize again the next day as a preventive measure. No stomach flu trouble for her since.
A couple of days later, it was my turn. Mr stomach flu came to meet me disguised as stomach grumblings and light tummy aches. I believe that's all the bug could bring because of the essential oils I'd been using.
I applied DiGize to my belly and lower spine for two days. Hasta la vista stomach bug!
