A recent viral infection went around in our work place a month ago. It was a flu-like virus with mild headaches, aches and pains. Everyone complained of horrible canker-like mouth sores on either the insides of the cheeks or on their tongues.
Most of these mouth sores would hang around for at least a week or so. But when mine first arrived, I instantly started to slosh a few drops of straight Thieves to my infected tongue four or five times over the course of the days and into the evening. It tasted strong but it was well worth it.
The mouth sores disappeared within 12 hours. Everyone thought I was crazy when I did it but it worked.
I got the idea because, my daughter who had been in a serious car accident acquired thrush (as later diagnosed by her doctor) from the over use of antibiotics and stressed body from all the trauma. I placed about 3 drops of Thieves in a 1/2 cup of water and let her gargle this concoction.
Within five minutes she noticed the stinging disappearing from her mouth and the white sores from the thrush had disappeared. Yes, there were still sores at that point but it did not take long for the Thieves oil to start acting on it.
Because she was in a hospital, and she was under the care of a physician, we could not let her swallow any of the Thieves to battle the thrush that was spreading to other parts of the body, as they have strict rules there. But the gargled Thieves at least kept the thrush bearable in the mouth until the doctor saw her three days later. No nurse would call the doctor in so I was forced to try something to ease her pain.
