Whenever I am at the gym, I usually push it really hard. Upon coming home I am usually very sore from lifting the weights. About a month ago, I discovered that mixing 2 drops of Black Pepper essential oil and 1 teaspoon of sweet almond carrier oil (you can use any carrier you like) and rubbing the mixture in my hands and then rubbing them into the muscle that's sore, really works and gradually lessens the intensity of the soreness. But remember, you must dilute with Black Pepper, because if you apply it neat, it can irritate your skin for those that are sensitive.
