Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I used to get an (unbeknownst to me) urinary tract infection 2 to 3 times every spring. I wouldn't realize it until I spiked a big fever and ended up in the emergency room from the pain. They would put me on antibiotics and pain meds.

I was good for 2 or 3 days and be back in with the pain. Go home again for 4 or 5 days and same routine. Then it would go away for about a month and start up all over again. It was very frustrating never knowing what really caused this every spring for about 5 years.

I have been using the oils for about a year. Last time this happened I did not really think about it cause it didn't turn into a trip to the emergency room. Today I am having achiness over my left kidney and realized that a bladder/kidney infection may be starting.

I decided to check out the testimonials. There were lots of ideas! I used 3 drops of each of the Purification and Thieves oil blends plus Oregano per tablespoon of carrier oil over the kidney and bladder area.

I also used the JuvaTone oil blend on my liver so I applied a few of drops of that also over my kidney and bladder area. Last I took an Inner Defense capsule. As I am sitting here typing this, the pain is already gone! I will keep up with the routine for at least 7 days.

Thank you, thank you! I am a total believer in the essential oils!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: urinary-tract-infection-(UTI) — "14 plant essential oils -- anise (Pimpinella anisum), bay leaves (Laurus nobilis), cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum), clove (Eugenia caryophyllata), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), hop (Humulus lupulus), Istanbul oregano (Origanum vulgare subsp. hirtum), Izmir oregano (Origanum onites), mint (Mentha piperita), myrtus (Myrtus communis), orange peel (Citrus sinensis), sage (Salvia officinalis), thyme (Thymbra spicata), and Turkish oregano (Origanum minutiflorum) -- were related to inhibition of 10 bacteria (Listeria innocua, coagulase-negative staphylococci, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Yersinia enterocolitica, Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella Typhimurium, Proteus mirabilis, Escherichia coli O157:H7, and Klebsiella oxytoca)."Link
2.Associated topics: interstitial-cystitis,urinary-tract-infection-(UTI),bladder,bladder-infection — "[Tea tree (melaleuca alternifolia)] oil has been found effective in chronic cystitis."Link
3.Associated topics: kidney-disease,kidneys — "Many plant extracts that protect against the development of oxidative stress manifest clear antilithiasic activity [preventing the formation of or relieving the symptoms of kidney stones].... Evidence obtained to date supports a contributory role of polyphenols [present in essential oils] in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, some cancer types, and osteoporosis.... The results show an improvement of the renal function in some treated groups with an increase of diuresis and creatinine excretion due to polyphenols pretreatment. Our results clearly validate the ability of polyphenols to protect against papillary calcification of kidney tissue, consequently preventing the development of papillary calculi [kidney stones].... The collective findings to date support a protective effect of polyphenols on kidney tissue. Thus, considering that injury of papillary tissue constitutes the first step in the development of COM papillary calculi, the antioxidant action of polyphenols may contribute significantly to their antilithiasic action."Link
4.Associated topics: bladder — "Frankincense oil appears to distinguish cancerous from normal bladder cells and suppress cancer cell viability. Microarray and bioinformatics analysis proposed multiple pathways that can be activated by frankincense oil to induce bladder cancer cell death. Frankincense oil might represent an alternative intravesical agent for bladder cancer treatment."Link
5.Associated topics: urinary-tract-infection-(UTI) — "14 plant essential oils -- anise (Pimpinella anisum), bay leaves (Laurus nobilis), cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum), clove (Eugenia caryophyllata), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), hop (Humulus lupulus), Istanbul oregano (Origanum vulgare subsp. hirtum), Izmir oregano (Origanum onites), [pepper]mint (Mentha piperita), myrtus (Myrtus communis), orange peel (Citrus sinensis), sage (Salvia officinalis), thyme (Thymbra spicata), and Turkish oregano (Origanum minutiflorum) -- were related to inhibition of 10 bacteria... four Gram-positive bacteria of Listeria innocua, coagulase-negative staphylococci, Staphylococcus aureus, and Bacillus subtilis, and six Gram-negative bacteria of Yersinia enterocolitica [causes Yersiniosis], Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella Typhimurium, Proteus mirabilis [causes UTIs], Escherichia coli O157:H7, and Klebsiella oxytoca.... [R]elative to anise essential oil, the essential oils of oreganos, cinnamon, and thyme had consistently high inhibitory effects.... [B]eta-bisabolene (Turkish and Istanbul oreganos), and terpinolene (thyme) were found to be the most inhibitory compounds regardless of the bacteria type tested."Link
