The past serveral years after my son's birth, my murmer has been getting worse. I was told that nothing can be done and that my test were good. 5 months ago it had gotten so bad I was now afraid.

Here are all the differnt symptoms I was having continuously: racing heart beat, pulse 120's at rest (60-80 is normal), dizzy, feeling large lumps moving across my chest (this is from blood falling back into heart when valve not shuting then finally being forced out in a large quanity), BP spikes to 154/98, shortness of breath, my heart beating so hard you could see my shirt moving and exhaustion are the main ones.

I was introduce to Young Living oils by a friend who was back home visiting. I decided to use Marjoram. I rubbed 3 drops on my chest. About 20 mins later my racing heart started to slow to normal. Then with in the hour it finally felt calm. I applied again at bedtime and again the next morning. This was repeated morning and night for 3days. After that I went 2 weeks without any problems. I now apply only when needed.(about once a month)

Since then, I have had a couple of times my BP was up. At this point I used Aroma Life on my neck arteries and it leveled back out in one application.

I have always had occasional symptons telling me my heart is not working right, but never have I been afriad before. I am so thinkful for how these oils have helped me. I hope my experience can help someone else.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: hypertension — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
2.Associated topics: hypertension — "Lavender essential oil has been used as an anxiolytic [anxiety] drug, a mood stabilizer, a sedative, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antihypertensive [high blood pressure], antimicrobial, analgesic [pain] agent as well as a wound healing accelerator.... The present study suggests that inhalation of lavender essential oil may be an effective and safe treatment modality in acute management of migraine headaches."Link
3.Associated topics: heart — "Myrtle oil (MO) exerts hypoglycemic as well as mild hypotriglyceridemic activity in diabetic animals. The reduction in blood glucose level may be due to the reversible inhibition of alpha-glucosidases present in the brush-border of the small intestinal mucosa, higher rate of glycolysis as envisaged by the higher activity of glucokinase, as one of the key enzymes of glycolysis, and enhanced rate of glycogenesis as evidenced by the higher amount of liver glycogen present after MO administration."Link
4.Associated topics: heart,rapid-/-racing-heartbeat-(Tachycardia) — "[I]dentifying... the effects of YYA [ylang ylang aroma] on blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) is important in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of YYA. The present results demonstrated that inhalation of YYA significantly decreased the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Inhalation of YYA also significantly decreased the HRs in 10 leads.... In the present results, YYA caused a reduction of HR and BP, and a relief of the arousal level in healthy men. The present results show a sedative effect of YYA, and this study provides some evidences for the usage of YYA [as a] medicinal agent."Link
5.Associated topics: heart, hypertension — "Aromatherapy... [consisting of] a blend of oils of lemon (Citrus limonum), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), and ylang ylang (Cananga odorata)... is effective in lowering systolic blood pressure and sympathetic nerve system activity... of heart rate variability."Link
