Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I've been in and out of therapy for herniated discs in my back for years. I do alright most of the time but do have flare ups occasionally. In Feb. 2010 I injured 2 discs in my neck and promptly went to my chiropractor.

After 2 months of treatment/therapy, there was little improvement so, he recommended steroid shots or pills. I could sleep in an elevated position, thank goodness but couldn't eat sitting down. I had to eat standing and driving was painful, and I drive a lot with my job.

Steroids were next. I had taken oral steroids at 3 different times in my life for herniated discs and shingles. It took 10 years to get rid of the weight I packed on as a result plus get my health back and I didn't want to go through that again. Shots anywhere near my spinal cord just plain scare me.

So, I researched on and the essential oils reference book and decided to try a cocktail of Idaho Balsam Fir, Wintergreen and Peppermint oil on my neck. I had an MRI done also, so I knew where the injuries were.

I applied only about 3 drops of the Idaho Balsam Fir, 4 - 6 drops of Wintergreen and the same of Peppermint 4 - 6 times a day right over the injured areas and the painful muscles and repeated whenever the pain came back. I noticed relief within 10 - 20 minutes of each application and every 2 - 3 days the number of applications diminished.

After 6 weeks I felt so good it was like nothing had ever happened. It was amazing how fast it had resolved, naturally and without steroids. I no longer need the oils and take Sulfurzyme and AgilEase as daily maintenance and continue with therapy to keep everything strong and healthy.

These oils/products have given me back a quality of life I wouldn't otherwise be enjoying.
