Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Last winter, both of my young children came down with H1N1. Because of the use of essential oils, my children only exhibited the effects of the flu for three days, with only one 'bad' day each. I witnessed a co-worker of mine battle with her daughter's H1N1 for three weeks, and then with the pneumonia that followed for another several weeks. My children only suffered the effects of the flu for three days, and the way the oils helped them sure made a believer out of me! I did not have much experience with the oils prior to this, but I have since become an avid essential oils user!

Here is what we used to the best of my memory:

Thieves: We applied Thieves neat to the bottoms of their feet every few hours as well as diffused it during the day. We diluted Thieves with olive oil and swiped from their ear lobe to the collar bone, following the curve of the neck. Everyone else in our household applied Thieves to the neck and bottoms of our feet several times a day as well, to fight off the infection. No one else contracted the flu!

Peppermint: We applied Peppermint to the bottoms of the feet to drive in the Thieves. We also diluted Peppermint with olive oil and applied to the upper back and back of the neck to help cool their fevers.

Frankincense: We applied Frankincense neat to the neck, following the curve of the neck from the ear lobe down to the collar bone whenever they would start coughing or complain of throat pain. I have never seen anything work as well as Frankincense on a sore throat!

RC and Eucalyptus Radiata: We switched off between neat applications of RC and Eucalyptus Radiata to the chest to help with coughing and congestion.

NingXia Red juice: When their fevers were high, we gave them kiddie cups filled with NingXia Red. When they weren't fighting high fevers, we would dilute NingXia Red with water to put in their sippy cups. My son loved the taste, so it was no problem to get him to drink it. My daughter didn't like the NingXia very much, but she drank it much better when it was diluted with water.

Along with these, we kept lots of water and 100% juice drinks in them to help flush out toxins in their bodies.

My children only ran high fevers for one day each. They only exhibited effects of the flu for three days total, and back to their normal selves by day four! They never contracted any of the follow-up illnesses (like pneumonia) throughout the winter.

Praise God for His provision through the use of all-natural essential oils!
