For a few years, I had a problem with one of my nails being consistently split down the middle. A nail technician said that it was due to trauma to the base of the nail and would probably always be that way.
I started to apply a drop of the Citrus Fresh oil blend on the nail bed once a day, and it has now grown out without the split.
At one point I stopped using the oil and the split came back.
Now I make sure I apply the Citrus Fresh at least every third to fourth day for maintenance.
