In July we adopted a blue heeler from the local pound. The puppy was find until the evening when she became ill. We took the dog to a pet emergency room and got the bad news it was Parvo virus and the dog probably would not survive.
My wife and I were devastated by the news. The vet decided to try a home therapy which included IV pushes for a few hours-no guarantee it would work. We had injections for her to treat terrible nausea that she endured.
I decided to try Lavender oil to see if that would take care of the nausea. It worked and after touch-n-go episodes with IV pushes..the puppy is the wonder dog now.
She is recovered and is growing fast.
