Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I recently discovered fleas on my kitten. He was infested when I got him and I thought I had eliminated them when I found another one! As it turns out there were many, not just one.

I doused the kitten with a few drops each of the Purification oil blend, Lavender and Cedarwood (probably overkill but I was disgusted!) The fleas immediately started crawling out of the cat fur and dying.

After doing a bit of research I had decided that my basement needed to be sprayed with some oils so I mixed up several drops of Lemon, Grapefruit, Tangerine and Peppermint in a spray bottle with 4 ounces of water and sprayed the places where the kitten slept.

All of the eggs that were there are very tiny, they turned orange and within 45 min the larvae started crawling out. The bedding immediately got sprayed again (several more times) and then triple garbage bagged and was removed from the house.

I also spotted one little flea on my kitchen floor so I chased it around with a bottle of Peppermint Oil and when hit directly with 1 drop of Peppermint the flea was dead within 3 sec.

I had read from some exterminators that limonene is something that can kill the fleas, which is why the cocktail of citrus oils.

I then proceeded to mix up some V-6 with 4 drops of Lemon and 5 drops of Peppermint and rubbed it on every square inch of the kitten. He looks a little pathetic but is totally fine!

The flea battle is clearly not over however, I do believe it is under control and it was amazing to see all of those little eggs turn color so I know the oils are working. Then to see all the larvae start to come out and start to die was amazing!!

I couldn't be more thrilled to actually see the problem getting under control. I will be spraying my basement weekly for the next several months in order to keep the life cycle from repeating.

These YOUNG LIVING OILS are so AMAZING!
