My lower left molar that already had a crown started to swell and hurt to the point that I made an appointment with my dentist to have it pulled. Upon dental examination, I was advised to go on antibiotics (penicillin) until the infection was resolved. That was the first time in my life (55 years) that I had ever taken antibiotics but, I was in great pain as well, so also took the prescribed pain med.
After about a week, the swelling and pain disappeared, and I planned on having the tooth removed. However, in that interim I communicated with our friends whom suggested that I try the Thieves oil blend. She had heard an excellent report from someone else related to a dental issue.
I received the precious oil and proceeded to apply a few drops of it to the infected gum area. The antibiotics had run their course and my gum area surrounding the infected tooth had begun to get tender again. After a day of this protocol I noticed that my tooth and gums began to be resolved of all issues; swelling, pain and infection!
I was and continue to be amazed! And I did not have to have my tooth pulled. It has been two months since the initial infection and there has been no recurrence of any significant symptoms.
At this junction, I'm a Thieves oil advocate! As well as a proponent for Young Living essential oils.
