Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Wow, I had a nasty burn this week, but the next morning you wouldn't have known it! We really thought the skin was going to fall off! Here's my story:

10-6-10: Trip to the emergency room tonight...burned half my hand with a cup of HOT bacon grease. Sprayed LavaDerm..poured on YLTG Lavender & iced it. Dr. was impressed & the nurse wanted to know where to get Lavender like that. I've never burned myself this bad before, but thankfully Young Living came through for me once again.

10-7-10: WHAT BURN?! Burn update-Took off the bandages & slept great! I went thru 40ml of Lavender last night & 1 bottle of LavaDerm (from the moment it happened, on the way to the hospital, sitting at the hospital, on the way home & right up till bed time) Woke up @ 4:30 & realized I wasn't in pain! Turned on the light: no red or blisters! AM: anointed w/Lavender, then Helichrysum & sealed it in w/Animal Scents ointment. Taking Longevity caps, OmegaGize, Sulfurzyme caps & MegaCal for supplementation. Did NOT fill Vicadin perscription & I'm not going to continue using that "propylene glycol" cream they gave me! It kept burning me, when I wasn't feeling any more pain! The nurse & technician said the whole emergency room smelled amazing & was relaxing everyone in trauma.

The moral of the story: It's important to have your essential oils first-aid kit fully stocked BEFORE an emergency happens. Thank God I did!!

Regarding Helichrysum italicum in vivo activity, the highlight goes to ...the anti-inflammatory properties exhibited by its flavonoids, acetophenones and phloroglucinols, as seen in animal models."Link
