My dog Sweetie, a 5 year old male poodle mix, loves to swim. Last month he went swimming and scraped his paws almost raw on the pool decking. Although he didn't cry or complain he began limping to keep off his one paw in particular.
I used LavaDerm to sooth his paw till we got home. I usually carry it with me when we plan to be out for the day in the sun, just in case of sunburn.
At home that evening I applied the LavaDerm several times and I also applied Animal Scents Ointment. Sweetie wasn't limping anymore, however by the third day his paw was totally better.
