We live in the country, and a forest surrounds our property. My son and daughter were outside in our backyard playing soccer when a misplaced kick sent the ball rolling under the trampoline. My son crawled under the trampoline to retreive the ball and was stung by Stinging Nettles. His hand began to turn red and swell immediately. He ran into the house and was hurting pretty badly. His fingers and palm were so swollen. I grabbed my bottle of Young Living Peppermint essential oil and put two drops on his hand. My son rubbed the oils in lightly. Then, we both watched as his hand physically changed. The itching stopped immediately, and his hand returned to normal color and size. In less than two minutes, he was outside playing again.
