Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My birdbath has brought me lots of joy over the years. I love watching the birds. But my birdbath had become filled with algae and mold lately.

Brilliant idea: Clean it with Thieves oil! Yes, it worked wonderfully, but the birds wouldn't even approach my nice clean birdbath. The Thieves oil actually acted as a bird repellent!

What to do? I cleaned it out again. This didn't help.

Insight: I thought that since sniffing coffee beans helps neutralize oil memory after sampling oils, why not try coffee grounds in the birdbath?

I dropped used coffee grounds into the birdbath and let it sit for a few hours before rinsing out and refilling with clean water. IT WORKED! The birds are back!
