Last year my husband was heating up a hot kettle full of tar used in flat roofing. He was throwing chunks of tar in when some hot tar splashed on his forehead and cheek leaving a very nasty burn. That day I started him with Lavender oil sealed with Rose Ointment several times a day and within 2 weeks the burns were improved greatly. He continued for a month and there are no scars at all. I was so impressed with how well these oils worked on these nasty looking wounds. I always use Lavender on any burns now. Sunburns as well.
