I broke out in a sore on my back and assumed it was a bug bite, but quickly realized it was shingles as they spread around my side and onto my breast. I had 3 blisters on my breast, 4 under my arm and 6 on my back including one directly on my spine. I was overseas at the time, so only had limited oils with me, but applied what I had.
As soon as I returned home I started applying a mixture of:
* 10 drops Forgiveness blend
* 7 drops German Chamomile
* 10 drops Melissa
* 5 drops Peppermint,
* 10 drops Lavender
* 10 drops Helichrysum
* 5 drops Exodus II blend
* 10 drops Ravensara
* 20 drops Thieves blend
* 10 drops Elemi
I used anything I thought would help and anything anyone said would help. I applied this mixture several times a day. My shingles never got very severe and were gone in less than 2 weeks. I'm sure it was the oils that got me through, because I know many people who suffer with them for months.
