My husband suffers from severe nosebleeds....and always at the most inopportune moments, like at a restaurant, in church, etc....you get the picture. Last week we'd just sat down at Starbucks with our mid-morning goodies, and suddenly our unwelcome "guest" arrived. There seemed to be no stopping the flow.....thankfully there were plenty of napkins to stuff up his nostril, but the bleeding continued. I didn't have any Cypress oil with me but I always carry Lavender in my purse.
I remember being told that if I don't have what I need, just use whatever I DO have, so I applied a few drops of Lavender on the outside of the side of the nose that was bleeding, rubbed it in, and reapplied a few minutes later. The bleeding stopped almost immediately....and it's been a week since then.....no nosebleeds! I did keep up the application of Lavender for that whole day...every 20 minutes or so.....just to make sure. With this incident my husband graduated from being very supportive in my new business to being a real believer!!!
