Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My nine year old dog was starting to experience some of the "problems" associated with age. Bailey, a shepherd mix, had started to develop soreness in his hip joints and a small tumor on his right eye. Unfortunately the tumor started to grow rather large.

It was a bright red healthy tumor, attached to a vein under his eyelid that was supplying the tumor with nutrients. When the vet examined it she said that it was benign and wouldn't remove it unless it grew so large it obstructed his sight. She said if she removed it the tumor would probably grow back larger.

After I had her opinion, I opted to use my oils. I applied one drop of Frankincense directly on the tumor (morning and night). I also applied it inside his mouth on the gums. After 5 days I switched to Ledum around the eye being extra cautious not to get it into the eye. I applied it to the gums as well.

I alternated with these oils and within 2 weeks the tumor had shrunk to 1/2 the size. The tumor tissue turned from "healthy" red/pink to a brown grey. I can only conclude that the tumor actually died. There is just a fraction of the tumor left and the surrounding tissue and the eye are in a very healthy state. Needless to say my vet was amazed.

I also put him on Power Meal (2 scoops daily, with one day of rest each week) and organic dog food. I decided the nutritional support was absolutely necessary to assist with his health . He is doing absolutely wonderful, he runs and plays like a puppy again. The only "side effect" of the Powermeal and oil therapy was that the combination solved his hip problem.

I am so thankful for my oils and the on-going research at Young Living. Both are invaluable!
