Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My husband suffered a trapezius sprain in October of 2008 while playing in a swimming pool with our 120 lb 13 year old granddaughter on his shoulders. He has been to countless doctor visits, from physical therapy, chiropractic, orthopedics and lastly a physiatrist who did acupuncture on him every week for 3 months.

The orthopedic doc told him in the area of his pain, there was nothing they could do for him! The pain had gotten so bad that my husband wasn't sleeping well and would hold his breath in his sleep. He became depressed to the point of not enjoying things he once enjoyed. His neck and back were in a constant spasm. After a sleep study, it was determined he had slight sleep apnea, but stopped breathing 25 times due to pain. This has gone on now for almost a year and a half. He is only 39 years old! I was introduced to Young Living oils by a friend.

We tried all kinds of them on his back to no avail. He was about to give up on ever being out of pain when we met a guy in our town who is a Registered Reflexologist and incorporates the use of Young Living oils in his work. He has had two sessions, with the last one being the Raindrop Technique. He also taught me how to walk on his back to try and loosen the tense muscles and his vertebrae. After that Raindrop session, he realized he was not in pain any longer. That was two days ago and he remains pain free and has had two good nights that he slept like a baby. He is no longer holding his breath in his sleep because he is not in pain.

The 9 oils in the Raindrop Technique apparently released the tension that had his muscles in a bind. We are still in shock and feeling very blessed tonight!

6.Associated topics: depression-/-sadness-/-hopelessness-/-sorrow — "A number of essential oils are currently in use as aromatherapy agents to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. Popular anxiolytic oils include lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), rose (Rosa damascena), orange (Citrus sinensis), bergamot (Citrus aurantium), lemon (Citrus limon), sandalwood (Santalum album), clary sage (Salvia sclarea), Roman chamomile (Anthemis nobilis), and rose-scented geranium (Pelargonium spp.)."Link
7.Associated topics: depression-/-sadness-/-hopelessness-/-sorrow — "Most studies, as well as clinically applied experience, have indicated that various essential oils, such as lavender, lemon and bergamot can help to relieve stress, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Most notably, inhalation of essential oils can communicate signals to the olfactory system and stimulate the brain to exert neurotransmitters (e.g. serotonin and dopamine), thereby further regulating mood."Link
8.Associated topics: depression-/-sadness-/-hopelessness-/-sorrow — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
