Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have been having ongoing milk production since weaning my last child, some 13 years ago. The doctor told me that there was no solution for this. My hormone levels indicated that I has galactorrhea and that it was likely to be caused by a small tumour on the pituitary gland, nothing to worry about.

I decided to try using Frankincense and Lavender as others on this site had done so to reduce breast lumps. So after trying this without much change, I tried the SclarEssence oil blend, as I was taking this in capsules to help balance my hormones.

I can tell you that the result was instantaneous with topical application, however it was not the desired effect, but rather quite the opposite. What I did not realise, was that the Fennel in SclarEssence will assist in milk production. I have stopped taking SclarEssence for now until my naturopath helps me balance my hormones with other oils first.

What I have learned is that any new mother having difficulty obtaining adequate milk supply, give SclarEssence a try.

Has anyone any information on successfully trying to stop milk production and treating galactorrhea?
